We are building the voice layer for healthcare
Tivara started in Charlotte, NC after our founders spent time in clinic operations and watched skilled front-desk staff spend the majority of each shift on routine calls that could be handled automatically. We set out to fix that.
Mission
Give clinic staff their time back
A busy primary care clinic handles 80 to 120 inbound calls every day. Most of them follow the same patterns: appointment requests, prescription refill inquiries, directions, and after-hours guidance. Every one of those calls is fielding time that could go toward patients who are in the building.
Tivara answers those calls immediately, handles the routine ones end-to-end, and routes the clinical ones to the right person with a structured note already written. The result is fewer missed calls, shorter hold times, and a front desk that is not always on the phone.
Patient safety first
Every escalation path is built around clinical risk, not call efficiency. Tivara routes potential emergencies to a human before anything else.
Honest about AI limits
We do not claim Tivara replaces clinical judgment. It handles what is clearly routine so clinicians can focus on what requires them specifically.
Built for trust, not demos
Features ship when they are reliable enough for a real patient call. We move carefully because the context is healthcare, not a productivity app.
Transparent about data
BAA on day one, audit trail by default, export and delete on request. You always know what Tivara stores and why.

Backed by operators who understand healthcare
Tivara raised an angel round in early 2026 from a group of investors with direct experience in clinic operations, health system IT, and clinical AI infrastructure. The round was intentionally kept small to let the company develop the product alongside early clinic partners before scaling distribution. Our investors bring network and operational expertise, not just capital.
We are not funded by generalist consumer VC. Everyone on the cap table has sat in a clinic or worked on clinical software and understands what it means for something to be reliable enough for patient care.
